Book Donations to the DC Takoma Park Library

The Takoma Horticultural Club (THC), the community's local gardening club since 1916, recently donated the following garden books to the Takoma DC Library at 416 Cedar Street, NW.     Also mark your calendars! On Thursday, 2/28 at 7pm the library will host a talk entitled "Getting Your Garden Ready For Spring" and will feature the editor of Washington Gardener Magazine, Kathy Jentz. The talk will be about how to grow a beautiful flower and foliage filled garden and still honor the Earth by using sustainable gardening practices. You'll learn how to prep your yard for the new growing season in an eco-friendly way while getting the whole family involved in this outdoor, bonding activity by growing green together.
