On Wednesday, January 23, the Hort Club held it's annual winter potluck & plant, etc. exchange. About 22 members gathered at Heffner Community Center, bringing delicious food along with plants, books, magazines, etc. to trade. A great time was had by all. Although there was lots of socializing, most time was spent on serious eating.
And thanks to Taffy Turner's food coordination we had a well balanced feast! Where else can you get a wonderful dinner, great conversation and go home with peace lilies or cacti? It makes our $12 dues quite a bargain.
