Information about the Takoma Horticultural Club email listserv |
The online service provided by Yahoogroups allows us to offer a free email listserv function for our members and friends. One does not have to join the Club in order to become a participant in the THC listserv. The home page for our listserv is at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/takomahort/
Via the listserv, members and friends: exchange gardening infomration, answer questions, pass along information about garden related events, give away extra plants.....and sometimes just chat about gardening activity. Joining the listservThe first requirement is to register with Yahoo so that you have a Yahoo username and password....free and easy to do - Yahoo explains the process at: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/registration/index.htmlAn added benefit is the ability to then use other Yahoo services, all explained at: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/helpcentral/ With your Yahoo username and password, check the Yahoogroups page which describes the steps needed to join a group.
